He is not balding? Obama’s hairstyle ‘changes’

It’s said that hair is a woman’s glory.

With changing times and the rise of the metrosexual man, we are seeing more and more men grow out their hair and try out styles that were previously a preserve for women.

One of the trendy hairstyles that fashion forward men have been rocking is the man-bun. This male interpretation of the classical female style is usually accompanied by a scruffy face.

Popularised by celebrities like Jared Leto, the man-bun has become an Instagram sensation amongst many fashionable millennials.

Because of the diverse populations that they cater to, usually stick to more conservative styles. But what would happen if the world’s top leaders opted to rock more contemporary hair styles?

Online design outsourcing company, Design Crowd, was interested in seeing how leaders would look with the man-bun and they challenged creatives from all over the world to Photoshop the hairstyle on politicians.

“You may have seen a hilarious Photoshopped image doing the rounds online, of Donald Trump with a man bun! So it got us thinking – What if other politicians around the world adopted the hipster man bun craze?” read the brief.

The company a suggested a list of politicians for creatives to Photoshop. Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, George W. Bush, David Cameron and Kim Jong-un are just some of the 13 leaders who made it to the final list.

The contest, that ended on 14^th October received 101submisisons from from 42 designers. In the end, Argentina-based Lionx won with his image of Russian President Putin.
