How Wilbroda, Bahati and other celebs will spend Valentines Day
February 14 – the day when couples, family and friends celebrate love is finally here.
Citizen Digital asked a couple of celebrities about their Valentine’s Day plans, and this is what they had to say:
Rapper Colonel Moustapha
“My girlfriend and I will engage in charity activities. We have agreed to make this Valentine’s Day special by giving back to the society.”
“Later in the afternoon, I will take my love to a private place that I won’t disclose for now. Being in a stable relationship makes this year’s Valentine’s Day different from the preceding celebrations – in which I was either single or in casual relationships.”
Gospel singer Bahati
“I will spend time with my children Rose, Purity and Morgan; they have actually come home to spend the weekend with their true love.”
Gospel rapper Eko Dydda
“My Valentine’s Day is an occasion like any other. Obviously my wife is around, and our love is 24/7. The only thing that will change about February 14 is that it’s named Valentine’s Day; otherwise it is not different from any other day.”
“All the lovey-dovey stuff that people do on Valentine’s Day, I do them daily. I have learnt one thing over the years; that human beings make it a habit to set dates for what they call special occasions. Those are the days they want to present gifts, give back to the society, do unusual activities… instead of living such kind of a life daily. Treat and love your woman daily, engage in charity when you can…”
Citizen Television reporter, Pheona Kenga
“I will be going for a road trip out of town (Nairobi) with friends to attend a private ranch party. I am looking forward to enjoy the experience. I have never celebrated any Valentine’s Day with friends, this will be my first.”
Papa Shirandula’s Wilbroda Awilo
“I will be giving back to the society in Kisumu; My Radio Citizen colleagues and I have decided to share our Valentine’s Day with Kisumu people.”
“I was supposed to travel to Zanzibar but because of the gospel extravaganza scheduled to take place in Kisumu on February 14, I shelved the plan. Mercy Masika, Daddy Owen will also be in attendance. We will distribute flowers to couples; I will be among the flower distributors.”
Hot 96 FM presenter Shixx Kapyenga
“I have no much plans for February 14; I will just be at work.”
