I did not impregnate Diamonds ex-lover Ali Kiba

Celebrated Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba has denied impregnating his rumoured model girlfriend Jokate Mwegelo.

Recently, a section of Tanzania’s print published articles about Jokate – claiming she is expectant with the popular Bongo Star’s baby.

According to sources close to Ali Kiba – who spoke to the media on condition of anonymity – Jokate has been showing pregnancy symptoms lately; with the Mwana hit-maker being the probable father.

However, in a Tuesday (November 24) radio interview with Clouds FM’s Diva, Kiba denied being responsible for Jokate’s alleged pregnancy, saying he was not comfortable speaking about his private relationships in public.

“Siwezi kuzungumzia mahusiano yangu-Na si kweli natarajia kupata mtoto na Joketi (I cannot talk about my intimate relationships. And it’s not true I am expecting a baby with Jokate),” Kiba retorted.

Jokate Mwegelo is feted Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz’ ex-lover and sections were shocked when rumour went round claiming that Ali Kiba decided to ‘eat from a plate’ Diamond had left behind.

Jokate and Diamond broke up in 2013 after their union was disrupted by incest allegations. Apparently the two were said to be relatives therefore forced to call it quits.

And when Kiba decided to date Jokate – which are still allegations – quotas saw it as a direct punch to his long time antagonist Diamond Platnumz.

Jokate and Kiba have been spotted severally hanging out and looking all loved up despite the fact that they have never made a public declaration about their relationship.

Jokate Mwegelo, 28, is a prominent model and businesswoman based in Tanzania.

Alikiba Saleh Kiba who turned 29 on Thursday (November 26th), has three children from previous relationships.
