#MCM: Rapper Mustaphas grand Christmas gift from gospel singer girlfriend

Kenyan rapper Daudi Mustapha, better known as Colonel Mustapha, has received a grand Christmas gift in form of a car from his gospel singer girlfriend.

The elated artiste divulged to Citizen Digital that 2015’s Christmas will go down as one of the best seasons he’s ever celebrated; thanks to his loving and caring ‘mamaa’ as he calls her.

Mustapha’s lover bought the rapper a brand new Nissan Murano car to make his holiday memorable.

“I have never had such a sweet festive season as this (2015 Christmas)! Mamaa has given me a very big Christmas gift – a Nisaan Murano car, and I am very contented; I didn’t foresee such a surprise,” stated the Dodoma Singida hit maker.

Besides acquiring a new asset, Mustapha and his flame visited a Kayole orphanage where they engaged in charity activities before later traveling to the Maasai Mara to spend quality time together.

2015 has been a great year

The rapper said 2015 has been a very successful year for him in his personal life and career.

“I thank God 2015 has been an exceptional year; my brand as Mustapha has grown immensely, and I know it is headed for the right direction. I am back in the studio recording new songs; I am getting booked for shows and I am shooting new videos. The sky is the limit for me!” said the confident artiste.

Mustapha has urged his fans to prepare for an even bigger 2016 calendar.

“I have a show in Isinya on the New Year’s Eve; what I am promising my fans is a productive 2016; itakuwa kubwa!” he affirmed.

Mustapha in an August interview revealed he would marry his girlfriend whom he says has changed his perspective on life.

“My girlfriend has inspired me a great deal. She has come into my life at the right time – changing a lot about me; I now view life very positively,” said the musician.

When Citizen Digital tried to get more information about his new catch, Mustapha said: “I don’t want to make the public familiar with her, for now-what I can reveal is she is a gospel singer who is very loving and caring. She is more than a partner to me.”

“My relationship with her will lead to marriage. Hapa nimefika, sitafuti tena (Looking at where’re we’ve gotten, I won’t search for any other woman).

Mustapha is evidently happy with his partner and is not shying away from telling the whole world.

The two have been involved in philanthropy activities since they hooked up. The most notable one is when they launched an initiative of conducting sex education in schools.

“Education is very important – sex, relationships and love are not going an inch away; they will always be there. After I release my video of Pangua Pangua, I will visit schools accompanied by my girlfriend to sensitise teenagers on matters love, sex and relationships,” he said.

“My girlfriend is in full support of the initiative. The people I have shared the idea with are very happy about it. I know it would take a lot of convincing to make people believe I have changed for the better,” said the rapper who is widely perceived a ‘bad boy’.

“We are also planning to distribute sanitary towels to girl schools in marginalised areas. We will dip into our own pockets to finance the project,” he added.
