Ng’ang’alito releases new song

Bernard Ng’ang’a, famously known by his stage name Ng’ang’alito, has released a new song.

The former Tusker Project Fame contestant who has remained active in the music scene released his song titled Usiseme Jana on Monday and urged other TPF alumni to do the same.

Speaking to Citizen Digital on Monday after the release, Ng’ang’alito said the song talks about the habit of postponing.

“If you say you will do something today, do it, do not say tomorrow because opportunities will pass you by,” he said.

The song features a new artist called Daville who Ng’ang’alito, a TV producer for Citizen TV’s Power Breakfast show, met when he hosted him and his band at the studio.

“I believe in nurturing young artists who have talent like Daville,” he said.

Daville is a former student of the Sauti academy and has just begun his music journey.

Ng’ang’alito also disclosed to citizen digital that he has not one, but two videos coming soon, back to back in two weeks time.

Last year the former TPF contestant released the song Wanjiru, which he sang in his mother tongue, saying he sang the song to appreciate all the Wanjirus in the world.

After being voted runners up in TPF3, he went to be a music producer boasting of songs such as ‘mama’,’Nowe Master Guitar’ and ‘Nisamehe’, which features former academy housemate Ameleena.

Ng’ang’a has also been featured in Grandpa Records’ hit,’ Nyenyenye’ alongside DNA.

Bernard is not only a musician. He admits that he is a jack-of-all-trades since apart from earning a living as a production assistant at Citizen TV, he is also a businessman, owning several pubs in Nairobi and Nakuru, including one called ‘Karma’ in Ongata Rongai.

He also sometimes farms on his land in Nakuru and tries his hand as a mechanic.

Ng’ang’a married his high school sweetheart and together they have a 5-year-old daughter.
