Nicki Minaj slams haters for criticising her for her body

American rapper Nicki Minaj has slammed critics who claim she owes her rap success to her big backside.

Nicki took her rant to Twitter where she marshaled a series of attacks on her haters whom she says are ignorant; and that their opinions do not move her at all.

According to her critics, 33-year-old Nicki Minaj is not very talented musically, and that she needed to ‘inflate’ her behind to attract more success to her rap game.

The tiff began when Bossip started a Twitter discussion on December 11 about the dearth of female rappers in the industry.

Of course, the back-and-forth got heated quickly, and the whole thing derailed when the gossip site decided to retweet a user who dismissed Nicki for allegedly not paying her dues to achieve her success.

“Yep, men are visual creatures they don’t care if you can sing…That’s why Nicki had to buy an [censored] to blow up! #Fact,” the user tweeted.

Nicki went on a Twitter rant after seeing this remark, and decided to ‘school’ the user and Bossip on a little bit of her personal experiences in the industry.

She derided the inherent sexism in rap, as well in an enlightening series of tweets that put her critics in their place.
