Nonini burns former musical partner Bobby Mapesa, here’s why
It seems like beefs in the music industry will never come to an end. Hubert Nakitare, popularly known by his stage name as Nonini, has blasted with fellow artiste Bobby Mapesa.
The beef all started when the somewhat controversial lyricist (Bobby Mapesa), bashed the godfather of Genge in his latest song with Calvo Mistari: Tuzidi.
In his new song, Bobby Mapesa claims that he outshined Nonini in the remix of the song Mtoto Mzuri that the two did back in 2013.
However, Nonini, who is the founder of the famous hip-hop group, P-unit did not act immediately on the dis.
He only rebutted once Capital FM tweeted a part of Bobby Mapesa latest song.

The 2008 Kisima music award winner responded to Capital FM’s tweet by calling Bobby Mapesa a broke rapper.

In another beef about accolades and recognition the Manzi Wa Nairobi rapper ignited a controversy, this time dragging Oscar award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o into the mix.
The rapper juxtaposed the acting careers of Lupita and fellow Kenyan actor Edi Gathegi, insinuating that Gathegi’s studded resume deserved more praise in Kenya.
