President Uhuru Kenyatta visits ‘Baba Mboga’, buys groceries

Markiti Market is usually a beehive of activity, but yesterday the energy was a whole new level when President Uhuru Kenyatta popped in for a visit.

The Head of State was in the coastal town to launch a youth empowerment programme in Old Town, Mombasa.

Flanked by coastal leaders, Uhuru walked through the market and interacted with the traders. He even took some time to buy some fresh vegetables at one of the stands.
