‘Pull Up To Mi Bumper’ singer J. Capri fighting for life in hospital


Popular dancehall singer J. Capri, born Jordan Phillips, is fighting for her life in hospital after she was involved in a gruesome road accident on Sunday, November 22.

J. Capri was placed in a medically induced coma following the fatal crash.

Capri was driving her white Mercedes Benz along Barbican Road at approximately 12:30AM on Sunday night when she lost control of the vehicle, flipping it several times.

According to sources, the scene of the accident was horrid with blood spread all over the pavement.

Sources at the UWI hospital in Kingston, Jamaica told the country’s Urban Islandz that the artiste is in critical but stable condition.

The dancehall diva suffered several broken bones and a concussion but she is expected to make a full recovery which will take several months of healing and rehab.

Doctors say they don’t know the extent of the Whine and Kotch hit-maker’s brain injury since she is in a comatose.

Several dancehall artists have since sent their well wishes via social media while others visited her in hospital.
