Rapper Wiz Khalifa’s mum confesses smoking bhang with son

The mother of American rapper Wiz Khalifa, who has previously admitted spending around $10,000 (Sh1 million) a month to fund his bhang-smoking habit, has claimed it was her who first got him hooked on the drug.

Wiz Khalifa makes no secret of the habit, and he has even recently said in an interview: “There’s nothing you can do wrong when it comes to smoking weed.”

His mum Katie ‘Peachie’ Wimbush-Polk, 51, has claimed she got the ‘Black And Yellow’ star hooked in his teenage years – even smoking with him before he went to school.

Speaking to The Sun, ‘Peachie’ confessed: “Before I went to work, before he went to school, it was our way of bonding. We would smoke together. He got his habit from his mother.”

She even added that Wiz got so addicted to cannabis, and would allegedly smell the smoke when she and her friends were together.

She also revealed that the rapper  would steal her weed: “When he got older, he would steal the marijuana butts I would leave, and smoke them.”

Khalifa shot to fame when he married Kanye West’s ex Amber Rose, but the pair divorced last year after just one year of marriage. The celebrity couple were blessed with a kid, and they have had protracted custody battles over their son.

Now the rapper is rumoured to be dating X Factor’s Rita Ora after the pair were spotted on a string of dates together, previously.

The Sun claims his mum has given the pair her blessing – as long as he’s “happy”.

Neither of the stars have confirmed the romance.
