Send me cash bro – Man begs Mayweather to send him money via phone

A Ugandan man from Kampala, identified as Torry Khaduli, has sent social media users into stitches after he allegedly begged for money on Facebook from wealthy American boxer Floyd Mayweather.

Torry is said to have taken to one of the Facebook posts the boxing champion used to show off his luxurious fleet of cars and huge sums of money to ask the legendary boxer to send him funds using a mobile phone cash transfer service.

Addressing Mayweather by tagging the boxer’s name on the post, he wrote: “Floyd Mayweather, I need your help sir. Send me some cash bro, please. My phone number is: +256 700 XXX XXX. Please Floyd.”

Immediately, another Facebook user responded to his request – not by helping him, but instead mocking him.

Bird Vazquez wrote: “Haha, you really think he will send you dollars? He will rather burn a $100 billion, and show off his money we all know he has.”

Mr Khaduli thereafter became the laughing stock, with many social media users ridiculing his move.

His honesty, however, moved others who encouraged him to be more hopeful that the boxing champion would heed to his request.

Ksh5.1 million to a nightclub

Torry’s plea comes just days after the boxing great caused quite a stir when he carried two huge piles of money to Miami’s King of Diamonds club in Florida.

The boxer’s piles of money are reported to have summed up to a whooping Ksh5.1 million ($50000).

He and his pals were living the entourage dream at the nightclub where magnum bottles of Ciroc vodka go for a cool Ksh61,000 ($600).

In an era where most people use bank cards, Floyd Mayweather, who gave himself the nickname ‘Money’, favours the all-out showiness of dollar bills, even if he’s probably offered free drinks wherever he goes.

At least, Torry can justify his belief that ‘Money’ would come to his rescue.
