Shocking details of Eko Dyddas freak car accident

Acclaimed gospel musician Eko Dydda was involved in a grisly accident after a lorry rammed into his car from behind, causing it to roll severally on Tuesday.

In an exclusive interview with Citizen Digital the Me and My House singer revealed that he walked out if his wrecked car without any serious injuries, just a scratch on his leg.

“When I got out of the car, there was a motor cycle standing next to it. I went and stood next to the driver and began examining my car. I could not imagine that I was able to get out alive,” said a grateful Eko Dydda.

That he walked out unharmed came not only as a surprise to him, but to those who witnessed the crash: “Bystanders could also not imagine that not only did I come out alive, but I did not sustain major injuries.”

He shared a picture of his car on social media captioning the picture with a positive message to his fans.

The gospel star managed to go to hospital that same day, but he will be visiting the doctor today once again for further check-up.

Others who have been involved in accidents in the recent past include Senator Mike Sonko who escaped death after a truck rammed into his car along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway, according to a post on his Facebook account.

It was said that the incident happened when the Senator was fuelling his vehicle at Engen Petrol station. A speeding truck, which seemed to be entering the petrol station, reportedly rammed into his vehicle.

Popular actress Nana Gichuru also passed on in a car crash. She died after the BMW she was driving rammed into a construction truck at Utawala area on the Eastern Bypass.

According to Nairobi’s Traffic Commandant, the youthful air hostess was overtaking another vehicle on a climbing lane when she collided head-on with the trailer.
