Singer Bebe Cool: I cheated on my wife Zuena Kirema

Ugandan singer Moses Ssali, better known to many as Bebe Cool, has revealed that he cheated on his wife, Zuena Kirema, seven years ago.

Bebe says he apologised to Zuena, and she forgave him.

Speaking on Uganda’s Dembe FM on the show Talk N Talk on Saturday, the 38-year-old addressed a number of issues that include his personal life, music and his support for President Yoweri Museveni during Uganda’s February, 2016 general election.

Zuena Kirema had left Bebe Cool in February 2009 after the Love You Everyday singer allegedly mistreated and cheated on her.

The pair would later reunite in December 2009 after the Gagamel boss owned up to his mistake and even composed the beauty a song titled Bamugambe.

“This is what I told Zuena after she had left me: ‘I slept with her (the other woman) but I will never do it again.’ She forgave me and came back to my life,” recounted the award-winning dancehall star.

Bebe Cool, who has time and again come under fire by critics for “being arrogant”, says he always speaks his mind and that many shy away from facing bitter facts.

President Museveni allegedly gave USh400 million (Ksh12 million) to the artistes who supported his presidential bid.

Bebe Cool who was one of the Ksh12 million beneficiaries claims he got the lion’s share because “he is bigger than them all”.

Bebe Cool and Zuena have been married for 14 years and the couple is blessed with five children.
