Size 8 reveals babys gender

Acclaimed gospel singer Linnet Munyali, alias Size 8, has revealed that her first born is a girl at her white and pink themed baby shower this past weekend, which was attended by her close friends and family including Amina Abdi and Wahu Kagwi.

Before the baby shower, Size 8 took to Instagram to appreciate her husband DJ Mo.

“Taking this time to appreciate my husband for being there for me and staying strong @djmokenya ….. to all husbands out there that are there for their wives, big up…” she said on the post that also mentioned Nameless, Eddie Ndichu and Bishop Kiuna among others.

Although her baby shower was filled with fun and laughter, her nine-month journey has not been easy.

The Moto hit-maker did not shy from divulging about her difficult pregnancy in September.

“The pregnancy has rendered me literally immobile; my legs are swollen; nakaa tu kama elephant (I look like an elephant)! They (legs) frequently hurt,” she disclosed.

The singer who usually delivers energetic performances intimated that her back hurts, adding that she doesn’t get comfortable rest due to the movement of the baby in the womb.

“I rarely get enough sleep as I have to brave the pain of a baby kicking and turning in my womb,” she lamented.

Size 8 also said that the pregnancy made her go slow on appointments and activities she used to do before.

“I cannot agree to studio interviews because I am not sure how I’d wake up the day of the interview – I fear telling somebody ‘yes’ for an interview, then on the slated date, I fail to turn up due to, let’s say, swollen legs, aching back…”

In reference to the baby’s kicks, she said: “Eh, wacha tu! I tell you the baby’s throwing mateke more than the mother – it’s kicking so painfully!”

This even attracted a message from Butterfly hit maker, Nameless who is one of her close friends.

“I just want to tell them to keep going; protect each other from the negative energy they will most definitely encounter. But they keep God at the center of everything, so I know all shall be well.”
