Steve Harvey made light of the Miss Universe faux pas that set social media abuzz with users ‘roasting’ him.

During Christmas, the TV reality and comedian shared “Merry Easter Ya’ll” on his Twitter.

As the Miss Universe 2015 Pageant host, Steve Harvey, mistakenly announced that Miss Colombia had won the 64th edition of the pageant broadcast live on the Fox Television Network before crowning the rightful 26-year-old actress and model from the Philippines on Sunday.

Miss Universe of 2014, Paulina Vega of Barranquilla, Colombia, had already crowned Ariadna Gutierrez Arévalo, 21, of Sincelejo, Colombia.

The 2014 beauty queen was forced to remove the crown, just moments after she had placed it on Arévalo, giving it to Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

He wrote a heartfelt message to apologize for his huge mistake and even apologized to the viewers that he felt he had disappointed explaining that it was an honest mistake.

His apology did not stop people from creating memes making him trend worldwide.
