This is what Sauti Sol and Ali Kiba are up to

Brace yourselves Sauti Sol fans; the collabo of the year is coming.

The award-winning boy band has revealed that they are planning to unleash some music with Bongo sensation, Ali Kiba.

In a post on their official Facebook page, the band said, “Great songs have been written. Even greater ones are coming soon! Team Sauti Sol and Team Alikiba – UNITE!”

Their collabo is expected to be a chart topper as both acts have been receiving massive airplay in recent months.

Sauti Sol is riding on the success of Nerea and Sura Yako, while Kiba’s Mwana and Chekecha Cheketua are performing well in Kenya and Tanzania.

In an interview with Citizen TV’s Lillian Muli Kanene, Ali Kiba named Sauti Sol as one of the groups that he listened to in his hiatus from the music scene.

During the interview, which was done while Kiba was in town for the recording of Coke Studio Season 3, the artist revealed that he would like to work with the 4-member band.
