Top gospel singer Willy Paul caused a stir online when he shared an ‘unbelievable’ picture of himself – one that reminded people of how far he has come over the past few years.

The Groove award-winner posted a throwback photo of him, juxtaposed against a recent picture, with the caption: “God has been faithful, me back in 2011 and now”.

Fans were exceedingly awed by the before and after image, with many crediting the transformation to God’s favour.

Few weeks back, the Kitanzi singer had on social media confessed of his obsession with Justin Beiber, a Canadian pop star who has in the past been notorious for partying, drug use and arrogance.

In a lengthy social media post, Willy Paul, who has himself been involved in a number of controversies, revealed that he fashioned himself after the What Do You Mean hit-maker,

“Three years back, I looked up to Justine Bieber a lot. I copied his dressing, singing, dancing and walking style… I got so obsessed to a point that I almost got his hair cut… I even tried talking like him bit my Swahili accent always sold me out,” revealed the singer.

From the look of things, there has been a massive improvement on the singer’s side and possibly Willy Paul even got the chance to dress like his icon.
