Trouble in paradise? Psquare’s Peter Okoye solo performance fuels splitting rumors
The famous Okoye family is at it again. It seems like the troubles in this fraternal paradise will never end.
Rumors that the award-winning sibling duo was splitting were re-ignited when Psquare’s Peter Okoye made a solo performance at an event in Abuja.
After staging the show without his twin brother (Paul), Peter took to social media to share a picture of his electric performance captioning it: “Blessed!”
In addition to the solo performance, he released his first solo single since forming the Psquare group with his brother Paul –a sog dubbed Look into my eyes.
According to a social media post that the singer posted, he is also set to perform in Dubai come 7th April 2016 under the stage name ‘Mr P’.
Recently, Peter caused a stir online following a flurry of tweets about his elder brother.
The Personally singer hit out at his elder brother, Jude Okoye, on Twitter calling him a mere ‘attachment’.
Jude, through his Northside Entertainment Company, has been managing the famous duo since it came into existence – a partnership that Peter is keen to terminate.
Citing lack of proper business structures, the Nigerian star said that he wanted nothing to do with Jude’s company, going further to warn the public against transacting with his elder brother on P-Square’s behalf.
Could Peter’s move be the end of the duo music? Only time will tell.
