What Tanzanias AY is looking for in a wife

The celebrated rapper Ambwene Yessayah, famously known as AY, has finally revealed what qualities he is looking for in a wife.

The rapper has admitted that it is not an easy task to find a woman who he will marry for better or for worse.

“There are very many lovely women I have met many but choosing the woman I will commit to right now needs a lot of wisdom. I need a woman who is smart.” Ay told a Tanzanian a local newspaper.

The Zali Za Mentali hit-maker is not seeing anyone right now. He said that he has neither been married nor had a child in his life.

AY, who recently revealed he has kept off women since he broke up with his ex-girlfriend two years ago, is skeptical to find a woman to settle down with.

Speaking at Chill Na Sky Show, he said that it would be difficult to move on from his ex-girlfriend.

“When I was dating my ex, I was convicted she was the right woman for me. I even told myself that if it happens we part ways, I would stay for long without getting into another relationship,” said AY.

The Bongo Flava artist added that his ex knew very well how committed he was to her.

“I told her that if it happens we break up and she stalks me on the Internet to know whom I’m dating, she will get zero information,” he recalled.

AY was hanging out with former Miss Tanzania at the beginning of the year.

The two were spotted at a seemingly romantic outing in Dar es Salaam’s Mbudya Island.

The singer denied allegations that there was something going on between them at an interview on Clouds FM, and he continued to say how they were just good friends.

The rapper was also rumored to be dating Victoria Kimani, but he rubbished the claims.

Another Tanzanian artist, Ray C, also revealed the ten qualities she was looking for in a husband in July 2015.

The diva said she wanted a man who was gentle, able to cook, patient and truly value her and her music, which meant knowing her songs by name.

She also revealed shocking things in the list such as sharing a phone with her man. Her ideal man should fancy Indian movies and play her favorite movies when she was stressed.

She continued to say that she would want her man to be with her at all times, and he should even work with her in the same office.  Mr Ray C should have few friends because she felt that men negatively influence each other in the absence of their partners.
