Not exactly, but it is made entirely of plant materials, Sugarcane plastic to be exact.

Coca-cola introduced the 100-per cent renewable and fully recyclable concept packaging at the expo Milano Food Technology Conference this week.

It’s a step up from Coca-cola’s current plantbottle, where 30-per cent of it is from plant materials.

There is, however, no word on when Coca-cola will begin using the new bottles, but it is teaming up with biotech firms to make this science project a reality.
