Australia to construct Beyonce-shaped Tower

A real estate company owned by a Singaporean billionaire plans to build a 68-storey-tower in Melbourne, Australia, that will resemble international RnB icon Beyonce Knowles.

Regulators have approved the plans for the skyscraper, which architecture firm Elenberg Fraser unveiled Tuesday according Vogue.

The firm revealed on its website that the shape of the Premier Tower was borrowed from Byonce’s Ghost video.

The 741-foot building will contain 660 apartments and a 160-room hotel. The structure will feature a series of curves and bulges designed to make it strong and efficient.

The Premier Tower will be located in front of the city’s biggest railway station, meaning those travelling by train will be able to easily see the structure.

Beyonce has not yet commented on her 68-storey tribute, which is currently without a tentative completion.

United Kingdom’s Deezen Magazine tweeted; “Readers are crazy in love with Beyonce – inspired skyscraper,” after social media went abuzz with users responding to the revelation.

Another structure in the world which has ‘curves’ is MAD’s hourglass-shaped skyscrapers in Missiauga, Canada.
