Renowned musician Justin Bieber has pleaded guilty to crashing into a photographer’s van while out with ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

The incident happened in August 2014 close to his father’s Canadian home in Stratford, Ontario.

A court heard how Bieber crashed his all-terrain vehicle (ATV) into a man who was taking photos of the “on-off” couple.

There was then a fight leading to the star’s arrest on September 1st.

On Thursday, Justin Bieber pleaded guilty to assault and careless driving via video link at a court in Ontario.

Bieber’s plea was accepted and he was fined $750 avoiding prison and probation.

It’s not the first time the singer has been in trouble with the law.

Driving with an expired licence

Previously, there have been accusations of careless driving and vandalism which led to his first two arrests at the end of 2013.

He was also accused of assaulting a photographer in Argentina in November and a limousine driver in Toronto, Ontario, in December.

While the Toronto charges were eventually dropped, Bieber was arrested for egging a neighbour’s home in Calabasas, California, in January 2014.

Two weeks later, Bieber was arrested in Miami on suspicion of driving with an expired driver’s licence.

For the egging, he was ordered to pay more than $80,000 and was put on probation for two years.

The star paid a $500 fine and attended an anger-management course for the driving arrest.

More serious legal issues could come of the earlier arrest in Argentina after Bieber and two bodyguards failed to appear in court in April.

Selena Gomez wasn’t charged for the driving and assault, which happened in August last year, although the couple broke up shortly after the arrest.
