Bill Cosby’s ‘Sexual Abuse’ Accuser Reveals Identity

Jane Doe was a name she used in a 2005 civil suit brought by Andrea Constand against Cosby.

Jane Doe’s real identity is Jennifer Thompson. She told the People Magazine that it’s come to her understanding that there’s greater credibility for her testimony with a full name and an image.

Jennifer Thompson, 44, had told her story to the magazine as “Jena T.” in November 2014, when she accused Cosby of sexually abusing her.

Cosby’s attorney Martin Singer said then: “It’s absurd to publish this unsubstantiated story from this anonymous person.”

People magazine said Singer did not respond to a request for comment about Jennifer’s identity reveal.

Explaining her decision to remain anonymous at the time of the 2005 lawsuit, Jennifer said: “My mother and I were very eager to give our support via testimony at that time, however, not to the general public. I was not quite strong enough then.”

MODELLING CAREER

Jennifer Thompson said she was 17 years old when she met the “Cosby Show” star in 1988. She says he told her and her parents he would help with her modeling career.

Jennifer Thompson narrated her ordeal to the People Magazine. She said Cosby put his leg between her two legs, but she wasn’t excited. But she knew that was the whole point. She knew she had to get him excited and so she ended up giving him a hand job.

“I’m like a robot, and that is what I became, and that is what I did for him,” she said.

She said Cosby gave her $700.

SEXUAL ASSULTS

Jennifer says that by finally revealing her identity, “I hope to feel relief. There are great costs to this kind of experience. This is why I came forward as a Jane Doe in 2005 as well. It redeemed me somehow inside to know that I was standing up for the truth.”

Since November 2014, more than 30 women have accused comedian Bill Cosby of either drugging them, sexually assaulting them or both. All in all, 16 women have publicly accused Cosby of sexual abuse, 12 of whom have accused him of drugging them to facilitate the abuse.

Cosby and his legal team have at various times issued wide-ranging, categorical denials or refused to discuss individual cases.
