D’banj dumps popular S. African girlfriend for billionaire ex-lover

Veteran Nigerian artiste D’banj, born Daniel Oladapo Oyebanjo, has reportedly dumped his popular South African girlfriend Bonang Matheba as he publicly declared his love for ex-lover, billionaire’s daughter, Adama Indimi, says Nigeria’s newspaper Royal Times.

The MAMA Evolution awards winner took to his official Instagram to wish Adama a happy birthday, and even called her, ‘the queen of his heart.’

Sharing Adama’s photo, he wrote: “Happy birthday to this very beautiful and extraordinary woman. She is one in a lifetime: my best friend, my closest and best ally, me beautiful princess – the queen of my heart. Have a blast my dear. I love you very much. Kisses.”

The billionaire’s daughter and D’banj’s affair had been on and off since 2011 until Bonang came into the picture in 2014.

The unexpected move comes few weeks after Bonang and D’banj stepped out together at the MTV Africa Music Awards.

They arrived at the event, which was held at KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, together, locked arms, hugged each other on the Red Carpet and then sealed D’banj’s triumph with a long kiss.

South Africans and Nigerians alike have, however, taken to twitter to react with some venting at the ‘Fall in Love’ crooner and some subtly dissing Bonang as the ‘side chick’.
