Hope for Men Whose Genitals Have been Chopped Off

The cases of men’s private part being chopped off by their wives, especially in Central Kenya have seen the public laugh about the situation even as victims lose their lives.

The situation might now take a different turn.

This was after Dr Krishna Kumar expressed hope saying that the victims can still live normal lives through reconstructive surgery.

Dr Kumar, who was speaking in Narok, said that once the part has been chopped of the victim should visit a hospital within eight hours to preserve the organ from dying off.

Dr Kumar who is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, micro vascular cosmetic hand surgery from India further intimated that the constructive surgery would see the patient recover fully, if done at the right time.

The surgeon added that in other parts of the world, accidents that included chopping of male genitalia had successful operations to reconstruct the organs.

Dr Kumar also added that sex change was also successful and had improved the lives of people.

The doctor says that plastic reconstructive surgery has assisted in lives of people who have also suffered in accidents as well as cancer related incidences that have been treated.
