I won’t collaborate with Nigerians-Diamond

Have you enjoyed rocking to Diamond’s collabos with Naija artistes? Well you have only one more of the East meets West jams left as the acclaimed Bongo Flavour musician has announced he will no longer feature Nigerian artistes in his music.

The Number One singer has in the past produced hits with Nigerian acts such as Davido, Iyanya, Waje, Bracket and Psquare, but his song Love Boat with Kcee will be the last according to reports on Bongo 5.

In an interview on Cloud FM, the highly lucrative musician explained that he has put an end to the collaborations because he doesn’t want to overdo them. He added that he has already gained popularity in the Nigerian market.

“In the beginning we started doing the collaborations to gain entry into the Nigerian music scene, but now we are known and appreciated in the country. Even some of our own songs (that do not feature Nigerian artists) are doing well in there-a good example is Nasema nawe,”said Diamond.

Diamond and Kcee are currently shooting the music video for their new song Love Boat in South Africa.
