Koffi Olomide assault video goes viral, here’s what angry #KOT had to say

Hours after touching down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, feted Congolese maestro Koffi Olomide is topping Kenya’s Twitter trends – and this time the notoriety has nothing to do with his musical prowess.

Olomide, who is in the country for a series of weekend shows, made news when he was captured on camera assaulting one of his female dancers.

In the video, which has now gone viral, the singer is filmed kicking the lady at the airport.

Officers stepped in, halting the altercation.

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT), were infuriated by the incident, and they took to social media to express their frustrations.
