Kenyans and Ugandans are hurling barbs at each other on Twitter, and the aftermath has got us in stiches. The hash tag #KOTvsUOT has climbed up to the top of the trends as social media user in both countries try to ‘out-diss’ each other.

This is not the first time that Kenyans have fought another country on social media. In 2014, Kenyans turned on South Africa after their Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula’s said, “South Africa wouldn’t be like Kenya and send athletes to the Olympics to drown in the pool.”

KOT pummeled South Africa for several days using the hash tag #SomeoneTellSouthAfrica, drawing regional attention to Mbaluka’s remarks.
