Legendary WWE wrestler suffers cardiac arrest, dies at 61

Legendary World Wrestling Federation wrestler (WWE), Roddy Piper is dead, says TMZ.

Piper, 61, suffered cardiac arrest at his Hollywood home on July 30th 2015.

His body was discovered lifeless on Friday morning.

The iconic WWE superstar helped launch the first ever WrestleMania together with Hulk Hogan, Paul Orndorff, and Mr. T.

Piper was admitted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 and was widely known as one of the most passionate, talented “talkers” in the business.

WWE Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon mourned the veteran wrestler’s demise saying, “Roddy Piper was one of the most entertaining, controversial and bombastic performers ever in WWE. He was loved by millions of fans around the world. I extend my deepest condolences to his family.”

Piper is survived by his wife Kitty and four kids.
