LIST: Nominees for Kisima Music & Film Awards 2020

The list of nominees for the Pan African Kisima Music & Film Awards 2020 is finally out.

Big names from the region have fused with upcoming artists to make up a fine blend of Pan-African talent in this year’s Awards.

“We are elated to see the big thread of names and quite inspired to see new upcoming artists from Across Africa taking up center-stage and claiming critical space. This is exactly the spirit of the awards which we needed to see,”said Dr. Fred Simiyu, Chairman of the Kisima Music & Film Awards.

This year, Pan-African judges made up of music and film experts from across the continent, presided over the selection process.

The release of the list of nominees now paves way for the final stage of the awards process which is public voting.

Voting begins on Tuesday, December 8 and will run up to December 12.

Winners will be announced the following day at the Sarit Center in Nairobi. The Gala awards will also be streamed online.
