Menswear fashion week kicks off in Milan
The Milan Menswear Fashion Week kicked off Saturday, featuring catwalk shows displaying the Fall-Winter 2016-2017 collections to flag up the next season’s trends.
The five-day event will see collections from 39 design veterans including Armani, Corneliani, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Lucio Vanotti.
Many fashion houses this year favor the low lightness hues of suntan, chartreuse and navy popular in the 60s and 70s. While on the choice of garments, wool and leather textures are thought to better flatter the ages. The tailoring is seen to cater the need of warmth and comfort.
Expected to be attended by thousands of fashion journalists and buyers, the fashion week will also house over 40 promotion events and some 100 other activities to entertain the fashion lovers.
