Michael Jacksons son changes name over bullying

According to Radar the 13-year-old son of the King of Pop Michael Jackson has reportedly changed his name from Blanket to Bigi after beginning middle school this year at The Buckley School, Sherman Oaks  California.

Bigi  is reported saying that he has endured a lot of pain and ridicule associated with the name Blanket and always thought that the name Blanket sounded so stupid that he  resented his father for calling him that.

The son of a highly controversial pop legend, Bigi says that he has endured a lot of abuse from his peers especially associated with his father’s iconic shadow and unusual moniker that left him vulnerable to ridicule making  him an easy target for bullying, jealousy and gossip  .

The King of Pop died in June 25, 2009, Holmby Hills, Los Angeles California of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication after suffering cardiac arrest.

He left behind three children Bigi, Paris, 17, and Prince, 18 who are under the care of Jackson’s mother Katherine,85, in Calabasas California.
