Michelle Obama pens heartfelt message to Greta Thunberg after Trump attack

Michelle Obama was full of praise for Greta Thunberg after Donald Trump mocked her on social media.

In her message, she tells Thunberg not to allow anyone to bog her down, telling her to instead focus on the many that adore her work.

”Don’t let anyone dim your light. Like the girls I’ve met in Vietnam and all over the world, you have so much to offer us all. Ignore the doubters and know that millions of people are cheering you on,” the Former First Lady said.

Greta Thunberg has become an influential figure in fighting the climate change.

She recently gave world leaders a shattering dress down at the United Nations General Assembly.

Most memorably, she stared down at Trump in an incident that triggered the spat between the two influential personalities.

”She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!” the U.S President mocked the Swedish activist after her speech at the U.N.

When she was named Time’s Person of the Year on Thursday, the President took a swipe again, this time telling her to seek help for ‘anger management.’

”So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” he said

These remarks attracted a flurry of angry remarks towards Trump and messages of support for the sixteen year old activist.
