Ne-yo set for Kenyan tour
American RnB star Ne-Yo, born Shaffer Chimere Smith, will make an appearance at the Coke Studio Season Three grand finale, according to news reaching Citizen Digital.
Ne-Yo, who graced the recently concluded MTV Africa Music Awards, is a renowned songwriter, producer, choreographer and actor.
This will be his first Kenyan tour.
Ne-yo has in the past written and produced songs which have topped charts globally, with his greatest hits being: So sick, Sexy Love, Because of You, Miss Independent among others.
The Coke Studio 2015 edition has brought together Africa’s biggest musical talents such as: 2Face Idibia, Jose Chameleone, Ali Kiba, Vanessa Mdee, Juliana Kanyomozi, Navio, Yemi Alade among others. Kenya was represented by Jua Cali, Avril, and Wangechi.
Coke Studio Africa show is produced by Coca-Cola Central, East and West Africa.
