Obama arrives in Nairobi to hugs by two lovely ladies
President Barack Obama arrived in Nairobi, Kenya on Friday after a 17-hour flight to hugs by two lovely ladies.
In his first visit to his father’s homeland as president, the president was received at the airport by his sister Auma Obama and a little girl in a pretty white tutu and a flower tiara.
The little girl instantly became the envy of her peers as Kenyans wondered who she was.
Her name is Joan Wamaitha, an orphaned 8-year-old standard two pupil at Mariakani in Nairobi.
The US president received the bouquet of flowers from Wamaitha then gave her a warm hug and posed for photos with her.
Mr Obama is expected to attend a global summit and then head to Ethiopia.
He is the first sitting president to make trips to these two countries.
