PHOTOS: Nyashinski weds longtime girlfriend in traditional ceremony

It is now official, Kenyan rapper Nyamari Ongegu or Nyashinski to his fans, is married.

Nyashinski got married in a colorful traditional ceremony held in Nandi County on Friday.

The marriage to fashion designer Zia Bett got a go ahead from elders after the popular hit maker fulfilled all the traditional obligations.

It was however a private affair only attended by close family and friends.

The wedding was an African themed occasion as portrayed in the photos.

The bride and her friends were seen in Ankara designs as Nyashinski looked dapper in purple with a black cane and a golden head to complement the look.

Photos of the newly married couple also depict the glow of two people who were happy to be together having gotten the blessings of their families.

Cake was also served and Nyashinski got to drink the famous Kalenjin ‘mursik’ in a gourd which was also part of the rituals necessary in officiating their union.

The two are said to have been dating for a long time but kept it under wraps.
