Rain, hail wreak havoc in Kileleshwa

A large section of Kileleshwa in Nairobi will tonight spend the night in the dark after heavy rainfall accompanied by hailstones brought down two huge trees on power lines.

The two trees further broke down a section of a perimeter wall surrounding a building in the area.

The trees blocked Gichugu Road in the leafy suburb, which is prone to flooding.

Patches of hailstones could be seen littered in the area.

Nairobi has just recovered from heavy rains that resulted in massive loss of property and lives.
