Ray C comes clean about husband hunt

Tanzanian singer, Rehema Chalamila, better known as Ray C has come out to reveal that she was joking when she posted her ten-quality list of the kind of man she would love to marry.

Speaking to Tanzania’s Bongo5, Ray C said that it is God who gifts a woman with a good man, and that good husbands are never found over the internet.

“That was just one of my many jokes. A good husband comes from God, and one should not go announcing she is looking for a man over the internet,” said Ray C.

“My intention was to cheer up my Instagram followers. However, when very many men started calling me to seek for my hand in marriage I saw how serious it was getting. I could receive more than 500 calls in a day. Some men were even calling me way past midnight,” said the singer.

However, the Mama Nitilie hit-maker said she is happy with the response, as it shows she is still famous among her fans.

“That deed showed how my fans hold me high, and how loyal they are to me,” said Ray C.

The singer went ahead to reveal that she has no intentions of getting married anytime soon.

“I am not ready, so I am not planning to get married soon. If I get the right man to marry, I will let you know. But for now, I am single,” said Ray C.
