Social media users celebrate Barack Obama’s birthday
Obama
Numerous hash tags have been used to send in the birthday messages, but the most popular one is #44turns54. The hash tag, which makes a play on the fact that the 44th American president is turning 54, was kicked off on his official social media account.
Some groups, like the California chapter of the Organisation for Action, are collecting ‘online signatures’ for an e-birthday card for Obama.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has not been left behind. He tweeted his birthday message to Obama and many Kenyans have followed suit.
