Sudi mourns his wife, announces burial plans

Mombasa based musician Sudi Boy will lay his late wife, Salma Lutevezi, to rest on Thursday.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, the grief struck musician said that body of his late wife will be brought to their Bamburi Kiembeni home early Thursday so family and friends can pay their final respects.

Following the viewing, mourners will proceed to Shanzu where they will bury Salma on her mother’s property.

The Naona Bado singer revealed that his wife of five years passed on in the wee hours of Monday morning after a short illness.

Salma had been suffering a bad case of pneumonia and she passed away while she was receiving treatment at Coast General Hospital.

A heartbroken Sudi recalled how his wife had stood with him as he made his name in the music industry, and he praised Salma for being his motivation.

The Mombasa-based musican added that his wife was his best friend and it would be very difficult to live without her.

Sudi announced Salma’s death on his social media accounts on Monday, and fans were quick to console him on the loss of his wife.

The singer revealed that his family has received overwhelming support from his friends and fans and he expressed gratitude for their concern.

Salma leaves behind a five-year-old daughter.
