1 Injured After Grenade Goes Off, Garissa

According to criminal investigation department boss Musa Yego , the people were having a quarrel when the hand grenade went off in Ndogo area, Garissa.

According to witnesses who spoke to Citizen TV,  there was a loud bang which was followed by alot of commotion around the area.

The incident comes barely a week after the massacre of 28 people in Mandera by members of the Al shabaab militia.

It also comes just a day after the killing of a police officer in Dagaley by unknown assailants, his colleague was seriously injured.

Scores of people have been killed and many more left with injuries since 2011 when Kenya took its troops to Somalia to fight the Al shabaab.

Many  people have since relocated their businesses with civil servants seeking transfers to other towns fearing for their lives.
