10 JKIA Flights Diverted To Mombasa

Moi International Airport Security Manager Peter Jakaiti confirmed that a total of 10 flights among them seven international airlines were diverted to Mombasa.

He said this was after Jomo Kenyatta International Airport got closed when a flight from Wajir made emergency landing at JKIA.

According to Kenya Airports Authority, no casualties or injuries were reported during the Sunday morning incident.

Passengers who got stranded at the airport in Mombasa complained that they will not reach their destination on time.
