100 Vehicles Impounded In Kitengela

According to the police, the vehicles were impounded during a crackdown on unroadworthy vehicles.

Traffic police boss Elvis Kemboi said that the operation is aimed at ensuring personal vehicles and public service vehicles adhere to traffuic laws.

Kemboi said the crackdown was carried out to avoid loss of lives especially during this festive season of Christmas.

A section of travelers aboard the vehicles have commended police officers for the operation saying it will guarantee passengers safety.
