1000 Women To Benefit From Free Fistula Treatment

Over 1 000 women who are suffering from the disease are set to benefit from the free treatment.

Speaking to the press, FIO Chair Lindsey Pollazec said that the move is aimed at saving Kenyan women who are suffering from the ailment.

Fistula is a hole between the vagina and rectum or bladder caused by prolonged obstructed labour.

The condition results into the victim being unable to control their urine and stool release.

Lindsey added that more sensitization about the disease will be carried out countrywide.
