12 Senior Police Officers Sacked

The head of Investigations at the Criminal Intelligence Department Samuel Nyabengi is among 12 senior police officers to be sacked after failing vetting. The National Police Service Commission has also recommended further investigations on the suitability of 9 other officers among them the head of airport security, Eric Kiraithe. And as Sylvia Chebet reports, former North Eastern police boss Philip Tuimul who had been sacked has been reinstated after review.
