12-year-old boy sodomized in Nyahururu

A 12-year-old boy has been admitted to Nyahururu County Referral Hospital in critical condition after being sodomised.

According to a relative of the Standard Eight pupil at Muti Umwe Primary School in Ndaragwa, the boy went missing for two days after visiting a friend.

The boy’s aunt has said, he returned later, complaining of pain in his anus.

Wanduruku says upon questioning the pupil, he identified a man who he said had sodomized him when he visited his friend.

The boy revealed the 25-year-old suspect threatened his life with a panga, promising to kill him if he told anyone about the abuse.

Gatheru Assistant Chief Maina Kimunge confirmed the incident, adding that the man was behind bars.
