13 Dead In Nandi Hills Road Accident

The accident took place at around 8 am.

The passengers were travelling from Eldoret to Kericho. 

A family of four, comprising of a mother, father and two children survived the accident.

A Kenya Red Cross rescue team helped the family out of the wreckage said to be about 200 meters down the hill.

Bodies of the deceased were taken to the Nandi Hills District Hospital Mortuary.

The family is recuperating at the Nandi Hills District Hospital.

This is the third consecutive day in which accidents claiming a lot of lives have been reported.

14 people died at Salgaa area along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway on Sunday, while 5 others perished  on Monday along the Nairobi- Mombasa highway.
