14-year-old boy arrested over brutal murder of Grade 5 pupil in Kajiado

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested and is being interrogated by DCI officers at Isinya police Station, Kajiado County over the mysterious murder of his 11-year-old friend.

The boy who is a football player mate of the deceased is under interrogation to unearth the motive of the brutal killing.

Detectives suspect that the 14-year-old boy was behind the killing either by himself or with others.

The family of the 11-year-old boy from Kisaju Jamii Bora Park in Kajiado County is struggling to come to terms with the death of their son who went missing on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

The deceased, a Grade 5 pupil, was later found dead on Wednesday, March 30. His body was found dumped in a vacant house located a few metres from his parents’ home.

The body of Emmanuel Kipkemboi had several cuts with the postmortem showing that the deceased had 17 stab wounds.

The scene where the body was retrieved had a lot of blood on the wall showing that there was struggle before the boy met his death.

The body was taken to Athi River Shalom Community Hospital morgue awaiting burial.
