15 injured after three-car crash on Narok-Mai Mahiu highway

15 people were critically injured and 12 others sustained minor injuries following a road accident involving three cars at Siyabei on the Narok-Mai Mahiu highway.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Narok OCPD Joseph Kisombe said that the 3 pm accident involving a saloon car, a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) and a lorry, occurred after the saloon car developed mechanical problems at Siyabei hills.

The driver then lost control of his vehicle ramming into the PSV behind him.

According to Mr. Kisombe, the driver of PSV also crashed into the lorry behind him as he was trying to evade being rammed into by the saloon car.

The driver of the saloon car is reported to have fled the scene immediately after the accident occurred.

The injured were taken to Narok Referral Hospital for treatment.
