1.5 Million Worth Bhang Nabbed in Migori

The bhang was seized after police intercepted a saloon car that was travelling along the Kuria-Migori road

Several Tanzanian car registration plates were recovered inside the vehicle.

Two suspects were arrested in connection with the bhang haul.

According to police, the suspects were nabbed after members of the public alerted the police about the vehicle.

The police believe suspect that the car registration were being used to hide the bhang once in the Kenyan market.

Area police boss Paul Kiogora says the police will co-operate with their Tanzanian government to identify and apprehend the people behind the illegal trade.
